This page introduces free and open-source tools that makes system design, rapid prototyping and benchmarking easier. Industrialization and volume ramp-up can also become faster, more scalable and very cost-efficient when tests are designed in these tools because the resulting test scenarios and verification can usually be deployed on the target embedded and distributed platform without modification as long as it has a Python, Jython, Java or Javascript interpreter.
Compilation to Cython or C code and in some cases even VHDL is also possible.
